Buick Park Avenue Car/Truck Body PartsThe Buick Park Avenue has only been in existence for a short time when compared to most other cars in the classic Buick line. The Buick Century has been around since 1936, but the Park Avenue was introduced in 1991. This was Buick's answer to a luxury full-size sedan to fill the gap they had found in the automobile market for luxury cars. Over the course of the past 15 years the grille on the Buick Park Avenue has changed a few times. Currently on the 2005 Buick Park Avenue there is a vertical bar grill that has an oblong oval shape. The 1997-2004 Buick Park Avenue grille has a more rectangular look than the 2005 model. The grill still has vertical bars, but it is not as oval shaped as its predecessors. The 1991 Buick Park Avenue grill still looks similar to all of the other models, but it seems smaller looking than that of the 1997 models. In 1992 Buick changed the grille slightly and as the years progressed towards 1997 it became a bit more like that of today's grille. The Buick Park Avenue is no longer in production. This is due to the fact that Buick has decided to design a new full-size luxury car called the Lucerne. Who knows what the grille will look like on this new luxury car, but it is almost a given that the new Lucerne will see design changes such as that of the Buick Park Avenue as it goes through the years.
