Buick Century Car/Truck Body PartsThe Buick Century has been around for a long time. The first Buick Century came into existence in the year 1936. They stayed around through 1942 and then disappeared until 1954-1958. At that point we had to wait until the 1970s for the Buick Century to appear again. In the late 1970s the Buick Century was a "mid-size" family sedan as it is now, although by our current standards we would have considered it a large car. They also had Buick Century 2 door coupes at this time. By 1978, the Buick Century had lost its trunk and gained a hatch and then came the 1980s. At this time the Buick Century took on a very different design change. This model remained for almost 20 years until the current one that we have today came into existence. The Century of the 1980s was smaller looking and more angular than those of the 1970s. If you were alive in the 1980s then you probably remember someone in your family having a Buick Century or its rival the Chevy Celebrity. In 1997 the Buick Century was totally revamped. The body style changed from the look we had been used to for so many years to the more elegant family sedan that it is today. The most noticeable difference in the new body style at fist glance is the missing hood ornament on the top of the hood. The new Buick Century has a logo placed on the grille, rather than emerging from the top of the hood. At our website, you will find numerous parts and accessories for several of the Buick Century models. Most Popular Buick Century Body Parts |
